The Role

The position of Financial Accountant is a really balanced role between financial accounting, management accounting and month-end. It also possesses the ability to be involved in high profile projects involving process/continuous improvement and aiding commercial activities to achieve strategic objectives. The key components of the role will include:

• Business partnering with senior stakeholders
• Involvement in high profile projects
• Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems
• Assisting with statutory accounts & returns
• Involvement in annual audit including liaising with external Auditors
• Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
• Ensuring a robust month-end
• Taxation & VAT returns
• Perodic and adhoc reporting

We are keen to engage with qualified Accountant from one of the following backgrounds:

1. An individual looking to make their first inhouse move into industry from an Accountancy Practice/Firm. Ideally this will be from an audit and/or business advisory discipline.
