We are recruiting for an Accountant Assistant on behalf of our client. They are a housing organisation looking for someone who can provide effective assistance to the finance team, the ideal candidate will be confident, with organisational skills and good attention to detail.
The duties of the job include but are not limited too;
- To prepare the monthly payroll, checking gross pay statutory and other deductions
- Provide cover for the Rent Accountant
- Processing invoices
- Paying suppliers in a timely manner in line with the financial regulations
- Deal with supplier enquiries
- Ensure all submissions to HMRC are done on a timely basis
- Ensure bank reconciliations are completed on a weekly basis
- Ensure that cash received is banked in line with the financial regulations
