We have just started the search for an experienced engineering/manufacturing accountant who is seeking a new opportunity. Our client is a well-established privately owned business. They have 8 in finance and employ c 500 people.

Key responsibilities

·Reporting to a strong CFO and working parallel to a management accountant – all a very close knit team.

·This role will focus on Group accounts, Balance Sheet and P&L as well as managing the day to day accounts and reporting function

·Be instrumental in developing a strong finance team and month end reporting structure

·Liaise with external advisors, auditors, financial institutions, tax advisers

·Prepare group accounts and be proactive in finalising these day 5

·Prepare various KPI reports and variance reports

·Working closely with the commercial and operational senior management team to add value and communicate key areas for improvement.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading employer who are expanding. We need a qualified accountant who has manufacturing / engineering experience and enhanced IT skills. The company use Sage 200 currently and are in the process of enhancing their ERP offering too.
