We are Specialist Accountants dedicated to serving plumbers, builders, electricians, and all other trades. Our services range from business advice and compliance to bookkeeping, CIS, tax returns, payroll, VAT, management accounts, and cash flow forecasting. We specialise in helping small businesses, especially those in the trade sector, reach their full potential.

At our firm, we pride ourselves on building close relationships with our clients. We believe in keeping in touch with them regularly, at least quarterly, to become their go-to place for everything related to running their businesses. Due to our client-centric approach, large corporate companies would not be a good fit for our business.

About the Role:
As an Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and providing expert guidance to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and Mentoring: Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure efficient work flow and deliver high-quality results.
• Strategic Financial Advice: Provide strategic financial advice and solutions to clients, utilising your expertise and insights to drive success.
• Bookkeeping and Accounts Management: Oversee bookkeeping and accounts management with precision and attention to detail.
• Software Proficiency: Utilise Xero and QuickBooks software to streamline processes and drive efficiency.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct cash flow forecasting and utilise tax calculators to optimise financial strategies.
• Managerial Position: Take on a managerial role with opportunities for growth and succession planning.

What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a proactive and professional individual who embodies our values and is ready to take on a leadership role. Our ideal candidate will:

• Qualifications: Be ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years' practice experience.
• Software Proficiency: Have proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks software, with experience in cash flow forecasting and tax calculation.
• Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and be fluent in English, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Demeanor: Demonstrate a friendly and approachable demeanour, with a natural aptitude for building rapport.
