Accounting Assistant

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 pm
Full time position
£23,000 - £26,000
Due to location you must be able to drive.
Responsibilities
* Check purchase orders and ensure invoices are accurate.
* Perform cost analysis against accruals.
* Work with software packages such as Sage, Excel, Word, Outlook.
* Understand basic accounting concepts.
* Bank Reconciliation for 4 companies and varying currencies.
* Bi-Monthly statement runs.
* Maintain documents such as supplier and customer database.
* Liaise with internal staff for query resolution.
* Liaise with external suppliers and customers for query resolution.
* Credit Control.
* Purchase Ledger.
* Daily import of sales and purchase invoices.
* Vat Returns.
* Input of overhead invoices ensuring correct nominals are used.
General Requirements

• Basic Understanding of SAP systems
• Experience in accounting concepts
• Must be able to drive
