About the Accounts Administrator job
The purpose of your role will be to provide accurate account records and transactions within a timely manner and communicate clearly with colleagues and external contacts as required. The role is full time and is for maternity cover until November 2024.
Key tasks
- Process invoices and credit notes for stock and general expenses ensuring relevant approvals are obtained.
- Prepare regular payment runs and assist company accountants where necessary.
- Build and maintain an excellent relationship with clients to ensure swift responses for credit notes/queries.
- Liaise with onsite warehouse staff to address any discrepancies in goods receipts.
- Run aged creditor reports to review balances and submit KPI numbers on a regular basis.
- System administration such as keeping records up to date/creating new accounts.
- Work with team members and other colleagues to meet targets & other duties that are assigned.
About You
The successful candidate should have a qualification such as AAT would be an advantage or experience in a similar role, and efficient processing and organizational skills and a keen eye for the smaller details.
- Timely and accurate processing Sales invoices & Payments.
- Effective communication to resolve queries.
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively to meet deadlines.
- Good basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups and formulae).
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamic AX /Nav/ Business Central would be highly advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

The Accounts Administrator job is based in Greater Manchester and is paying up to GBP26,000 according to your experience. The role is full time and is for maternity cover until November 2024.
The working hours are Monday - Thursday 8am 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 3pm (1-2 days from home after probation).
