Accounts Administrator
Flexible working options available between 32-40 hours a week - £14 per hour
The role of the Accounts Administrator:
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor overdue payments, follow up with clients, and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and send out invoices, statements, and reminders to clients as required.
- Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Record financial transactions accurately and ensure they are appropriately classified.
- Maintain and update general ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Input financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets accurately.
- Prepare reports and summaries based on financial data for management review.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Maintain organised and systematic filing systems for financial documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise discretion when handling sensitive data.
