We are recruiting for a full time Accounts/office administrator to join our team. You will be
responsible for the following but not limited to.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement, includes preparing purchase orders, negotiating purchases/services for good
value for money and updating relevant department on shipping.
- Checking subcontractor timesheets are correct and ensure it’s signed off by the site manager
for payment.
- Checking supplier/subcontractors invoices are correct and match them to the purchase
order.
- Posting supplier/subcontractor invoices in a timely manner on Xero accounting software for
approval
- Filing and record keeping
- Raising sales invoices
- Assisting the managing director with the valuation
Experience:
- Minimum six months working in accounts/office environment
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft office suite (excel & word)
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Currently studying for accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ICAEW)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
