SalaryAccounts and Audit Semi-Senior required. My client is a well-known firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, based in the Stoke area. They are looking for an Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior to join their friendly and growing team.
The successful candidate will be working with a wide variety of clients to complete full accounts preparation, corporate tax returns and management accounts. You will also benefit from high quality personal development and on the job training to develop your skills alongside your accounting, audit and tax skills.

Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior Position Overview
- Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Preparation of meeting documents for accounts meetings
- Preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of corporation tax returns for the manager to review
- Provide assistance to the lead auditor
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice, and be AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified/part-qualified.
Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior Position Requirements
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
- AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified/part-qualified
- No audit experience required as full training is provided
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail
Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior Position Remuneration
- 23,000- 26,000 (dependant on experience)
- 21 days annual leave + 4 day Christmas shutdown + bank holiday
- Hybrid working
- Option to finish at 2pm on Friday
