Accounts And Tax Manager

Are you working in a role where you feel frustrated with the lack of progression and development opportunities? Are you a qualified accountant with experience of managing a portfolio of clients and reviewing compliance? If so then my client has a great opportunity to join them as an Accounts and Tax Manager.
Your role will be varied but will include:
* Managing a portfolio of predominantly Limited Company clients, helping with their statutory reporting and business and Tax planning
* Reviewing financial statements, predominantly prepared under FRS 102, but may include some IFRS
* Reviewing corporation tax returns
* Reviewing VAT Returns
* Supporting outsourced FD clients with management reporting and adhoc queries, managing the overall compliance and reporting processes.
* Assisting with the training of junior team members (AAT and ACA trainees)
The ideal candidate will be:
* ACA or ACCA qualified with experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients
* Competent in all aspects of Accounts and corporate tax compliance and fully up to date with accounting and Tax standards
* Have the ability to prioritise tasks, work on own initiative and meet deadlines
