Accounts Assistant Salary: GBP22,000 to GBP24,000 pro rata Benefits: Flexible part time hours, hybrid work patternLocation: East YorkshireAn experienced Accounts Assistant is required to cover a long-term maternity contract. This part time role includes an element of hybrid working and you must have practical experience of sales & purchase ledger, credit control, month end reconciliations, payroll (Including CIS) and processing expenses. You may be required to assist in other areas of the business, so a professional, proactive work ethic is also required.THE ROLEPart time (3 days), partial hybrid work pattern available, long-term contract.To oversee all aspects of sales & purchase ledger, credit control and weekly payroll.Additional accounts duties may be added according to your practical experience.Assist other members of the team during busy periods.Liaise with suppliers and colleagues to bring account queries to a conclusion.THE CANDIDATEExperience with all aspects of transactional accounts including payroll is essential.Highly organised and accurate whilst managing a busy workload. Ability to identify and swiftly resolve all queries and financial anomalies. Show a willingness to assist colleagues in the wider finance team.Committed to honour the full duration of the contract.
