This role is office based, office is based in Hackney
Monday - Friday
8am - 5pm
We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to help contribute to the smooth running of the day-to-day activities of a busy and fast paced finance department. We're looking for someone proactive, with excellent attention to detail to support with all assistant duties.
Experience in a similar role is required.
Job description -
- All aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping
- Posting of invoices
- Managing the cashbook
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Monthly credit card statements
- Dealing with supplier queries via telephone and emails while maintaining good relationship
- Assisting with weekly payment runs
- Matching purchase orders and delivery notes against invoices received
Skills Required -
- A bookkeeping / Accounting qualification is an advantage
- Experience with Sage is highly desirable.
- Construct knowledge would be an advantage, but not essential
- Being able to work in fast paced environment is essential
- Experienced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products
- Proactive and self-motivated with excellent system skills
- Team player and good communicator
