This role is office based, office is based in Hackney

Monday - Friday

8am - 5pm

We are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to help contribute to the smooth running of the day-to-day activities of a busy and fast paced finance department. We're looking for someone proactive, with excellent attention to detail to support with all assistant duties.

Experience in a similar role is required.

Job description -

• All aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping

• Posting of invoices
• Managing the cashbook
• Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger
• Monthly credit card statements
• Dealing with supplier queries via telephone and emails while maintaining good relationship
• Assisting with weekly payment runs
• Matching purchase orders and delivery notes against invoices received

Skills Required -

• A bookkeeping / Accounting qualification is an advantage

• Experience with Sage is highly desirable.
• Construct knowledge would be an advantage, but not essential
• Being able to work in fast paced environment is essential
• Experienced Excel user and proficient in other MS Office products
• Proactive and self-motivated with excellent system skills
• Team player and good communicator
