SalaryReed Accountancy are partnering with a growing technology business to recruit an ACCA or CIMA Finalist for a hands-on Management Accountant opportunity.
The Management Accountant will play a leading role in supporting the growth of the business, driving business improvements, and taking ownership for a mixture of financial and management reporting. It is an exciting hands-on role working directly with the Finance Director to develop a best-in-class function so that the business can scale.
The Management Accountant role responsibilities include the following:
Manage accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting and month close activities, supported by qualitative analysis and preparation of annual statutory accounts.
Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounts processes and internal controls.
Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitor variances to actuals.
Work closely with internal team to identify project profitability and analyse the data to deliver meaningful financial information to the management team.
Prepare financial models to evaluate sales opportunities, product development decisions and potential risks.
Development and monitoring of business KPI’s reporting.
Streamline processes to assist with revenue recognition and cost accruals.
Prepare and submit HMRC returns (VAT, Corp tax inc R&D)
Support the annual Audit process and deliverables.
