Michael Page Finance are delighted to be partnering a leading international specialist Logistics business based in North West London.
With a turnover of circa £130m, the business has grown both organically and via acquisition from £30m in 2022. They offer first class service to their international customers and have offices globally in Paris, Los Angeles, New York and Tokyo to name a few and will be looking for continued growth in the coming years to deliver their 5 year plan.
As a result of the growth they are looking to hire a newly created Management Accountant.
Description
The Management Accountant will be responsible for:
- Producing the management accounts and board packs
- Reconciling the balance sheet, bank, inter-company accounts
- Partnering Management to understand results and performance
- Budget and forecasting
- Analysis and reporting
- Preparing the VAT and compliance
- Assisting the Year-End audit
- Ad-hoc projects and analysis
Profile
The successful candidate will be:
- A newly qualified or exam qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Demonstrable experience with financial or management accounting
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to build credible working relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills
- Team player
Job Offer
The Management Accountant role comes with a base salary of £55,000, discretionary bonus, comprehensive benefits package and hybrid working (1 day from home) post probation.
