Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a repeat client, a long established and highly regarded specialist manufacturing business with a reputation for high quality production and innovative technology. The business has strong roots in Cornwall and is widely considered to be a premium employer in the area, demonstrated by excellent employee retention and development. The company now seeks to recruit an Accounts Assistant to provide support with the daily accounting lifecycle. This is a permanent, full time role that works between 0800-1700 Monday Thursday with a 1200 finish each Friday.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Credit Control
- Maintenance of Purchase Ledger
- Supporting senior finance staff with budget prep, month-end and year-end processes
- Bank reconciliations
- General office administration
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
Candidates will ideally be part/fully AAT qualified but must have experience gained in a similar role, preferably within a high volume/fast-paced finance department. Previous experience gained in a manufacturing environment would also be advantageous but is not essential. Good all-round IT experience, particularly using MS Excel and general Office products is also required.
