Accounts Assistant

Eye4 Recruitment are working with a highly reputable client based in the heart of Petworth, an exciting opportunity to work in a growing business. They are looking to recruit due to growth. The role is an Accounts Assistant, someone who is self–motivated approach to all daily tasks and a commitment to maintaining high standards, an eye for detail and a pro–active attitude.

KEY RESPONBILITIES:

• Maintaining the company purchase and sales ledgers including raising sales invoices and processing purchase invoices
• Producing weekly and monthly payroll
• Bank reconciliations
• Processing and posting monthly journals
• Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers
• Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
• Investigating discrepancies
• Managing petty cash transactions and staff expenses

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Finance/accounting experience (3 years +)
• Experience working with Sage 50 Accounting and Sage Payroll software essential
• IT literate with previous Microsoft office experience essential
• Able to work independently, as well as working as part of a team
• Ability to work under pressure
