About Our Client

Job Description
· Year end accounts preparation on mainly FRS105 clients as well as a small number of FRS1021A clients, Sole Traders and Partnerships to manager review level.
· VAT Return & Tax preparation.
· Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
· Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and and client payroll journals..
· Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
· Bookkeeping for clients using Xero/ Hubdoc/ Dext Precision
· Contribute to team meetings and company-wide discussions.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support the wider team.
· New client set up and engagement
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:· AAT qualified or QBE to this level - 2/3 years experience within Practice required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
· A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· A proactive approach to work, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
