Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to join the team on a temporary to permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sage 50 Accounting and possess a strong background in accounts and credit control. This role offers the opportunity to work full time or part time all dependent on the candiate fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
- Monitor and maintain credit control processes, ensuring timely payment of invoices and resolution of outstanding accounts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions and reporting.
- Provide administrative support as needed, including filing, data entry, and document management.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting procedures and systems to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Proven experience working with Sage 50 Accounting software.
- Previous experience in accounts and credit control roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
