Accounts Assistant

Our client is an established and successful company based in Warwickshire, specialising within the Food and Beverages sector, whose brand has been established for over 20 years. They are now looking to acquire the services of an Accounts Assistant on a Full-Time, Permanent basis. This a fantastic opportunity, which would suit an individual who is passionate, adaptable, and looking to work in a dynamic environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Managing client accounts, including the meticulous checking and generation of monthly client trading accounts.
* Verifying and importing site data into head office software systems.
* Handling high-volume purchase ledger duties efficiently.
* Addressing supplier payments and resolving associated queries.
* Processing copy invoices accurately.
* Conducting sales ledger duties such as generating monthly sales invoices and client statements.
* Managing client purchase order data and systems effectively.
* Performing nominal journal entries.
* Developing new ISO processes and procedures.
* Collaborating with the Accounts Manager to enhance the efficiency of accounting department operations and workflows.
* Providing support to the Operations Team by addressing queries and issues as necessary.
Key Skills & Experience:
* The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline to achieve objectives.
* Need to be self-motivated, conscientious, and thorough.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail required.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel and 365).
Additional Information:
* Working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm with a half hour unpaid lunch break (37.5 hours).
* Fully On-Site.
