RME Consultants are working with a well-established client to find an Accounts Assistant. Do you have previous experience in a Finance role? If so, apply today!

Role: Accounts Assistant

Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Full time office based (9am -5pm)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Long Crendon, Buckinghamshire

Main Duties for the Accounts Assistant:

  • Create and handle invoices/applications,ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal and company standards.
  • Validate invoicing details like pricing for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with clients to obtain purchase orders for invoices lacking them, where required.
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure timely approval of draft invoices.
  • Rectify any discrepancies or problems with invoicing data.
  • Maintain and refresh customer files with up-to-date information.

Experience requirement for the Accounts Assistant:

  • Accounts Receivable experience (3 years)
  • AAT qualified (minimum of Level 2)
  • Excellent data entry
  • Outstanding attention to detail and precision.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A composed and confident telephone demeanor.
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
