Reed Accountancy is delighted to be supporting a well-respected organisation based in Grangemouth for their Accounts Assistant vacancy. This role is full-time permanent position with an option for hybrid working once full training has been given.
In this role, you will be responsible for key transactional duties such as accounts payable, receivable and the various reconciliations. Part of this role will include handling queries via telephone and email hence why excellent communication skills is crucial.
You would be working alongside a friendly team in their Grangemouth office close to many transport links and amenities.
Key Duties
- Responsible for the organisations purchase and sales ledger
- Overseeing the company cashbook
- Reconciling company bank accounts and supplier statements
- Managing and resolving invoicing queries via email
- Posting journals
- Supporting the Head of Finance when required
Candidate Attributes
- Experience within a finance function
- Positive and friendly approach
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled in MS Excel (Desirable)
