Sellick Partnership are currently assisting in the recruitment of a Accounts Assistant for a large professional business in Newcastle. The role is paying up to £25,000 and offers hybrid working and study support.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in accounts payable
• 2 years experience in a finance role
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
