Salary: £14 per hour
Working hours: 8:30am until 12:30pm or 9am until 1pm
We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Temporary Accounts Assistant. This role offers the opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Ordering stationary equipment from time-to-time
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts or finance role required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage systems
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
