Accounts Assistant
Location: Central London
Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid 4 days a week WFH and 1 day a week in the office.
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join a modern Art Gallery in the heart of London. Duties of the role:
- Prepare and raise invoices and credit notes in multiple currencies (GBP, USD & EUR).
- Manage Accounts Payable invoices with precision, using Xero, which may involve complex transactions.
- Review and monitor aged debtor/creditor reports to ensure timely settlements.
- Conduct daily bank reconciliations using Xero to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with general accounting duties and provide support to the Company Accountant, contributing to the financial health of the gallery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Solid all-around Accounts experience.
- AAT studier or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- High levels of attention to detail.
- Experience in the arts industry is an advantage but not essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
