Leading firm of Accountants & Tax Advisers in the field of auditing and professional services, is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join their team as an Accounts Assistant Manager. As an Accounts Assistant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of incorporated and unincorporated accounts using CCH software
- Preparation of corporation tax computations using CCH software
- Preparation of client accounts from incomplete records
- Reviewing trainees accounts files
- Developing trainees’ technical skills
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly payroll
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Completing assignments within agreed time budget
- Keep technically up to date.
We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant Manager with the following:
- Qualified or part qualified ACCA/ICAEW (Study support will be provided where required)
- Ideally with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical competence
- Use of accountancy software with Sage, Xero and CCH experience an advantage.
- Good communication skills
- Personable
