Job Description

• Start Portfolio Management - Liaising with Clients, Partners, and other staff where appropriate to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues.
• Completing management and statutory accounts, including related services, and setting budgets
• Review and prepare monthly and quarterly Management accounts & related files.
• Arrangement of timetable, booking of staff, planning and completion of management accounts, statutory accounts, VAT returns and other related assignments.
• Supervising junior staff members and ensuring feedback is given to staff on a timely basis
• Prepare and review unaudited statutory accounts & related files.
• Work on more complex client activity

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant Manager should have:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA) or qualified by experience
• Experience of management accounts, statutory accounts and VAT returns gained within a professional services environment
• Experience of working with entrepreneurial, OMB and SME clients.
• Experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
• An appetite for business development activities such as preparation of proposal documents
