Job Profile
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role would focus on credit control while supporting the wider Finance function in a fast-growing SME. Would suit an experienced credit controller who wishes to widen his/her experience into other functions within finance. This role is office based 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure customer accounts adhere to credit terms and credit limits.
- Ensure the accurate and timely application of customer payments to their accounts.
- Maintain accurate sales ledger records.
- Manage the Credit Control mailbox.
- Provide regular sales ledger reports and update the Sales team on any issues.
- Assist with new customer onboarding which includes credit checks and chasing references.
- Assist with maintaining purchase ledger records.
- Assist with reconciliations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years recent experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good IT skills with intermediate/advanced level of Excel, Word and accounting software.
- Must be able to commute to the office Monday – Friday.
- Experience using Salesforce/Accounting Seed is advantageous otherwise must be willing and capable of learning to use it.
Remuneration
The salary offered is £25k - £30k depending on experience.
