Accounts Assistant- Part Time

Simpson Judge is currently working with a leading consultancy based in Central Manchester who are seeking a Finance Officer. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing support towards transactional tasks for the company and their sister company. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a company that supports their employees with their career development.
This is a temp to perm Part Time position which can be worked across 3 to 4 days a week. Hybrid after induction period is on offer. As a result, you would need to be available immediately or on a short notice.
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (pro rata)
Roles/ Responsibilities
* Reviewing the accounts mailbox and dealing with queries.
* Processing of supplier invoices, including appropriate approvals
* Dealing with internal and external supplier queries.
* Daily bank processing and reconciliation, ensuring postings are accurate.
* Processing of employee expenses
* Raising fee invoices (circa 50 per month), liaising with senior members of the company ensuring invoices are raised in a timely manner.
* Full responsibility for credit control, ensuring our clients pay us within terms.
* Liaising with Auditors for audit items linked to job role and closing out audit items.
* Other ad-hoc duties when required.
Skills/ Experience
* Excel - Vlookups and pivot tables
* At least 3 years experience in Finance
* AAT Qualified and ideally studying towards ACCA/ CIMA / ACA
* Experience with Sage 50 software is ideal
