Description
The duties for the Accounts Assistant are:
- Assisting in the preparation of accounts
- Purchase ledger- Processing invoices and maintaining records
- Helping with bank reconciliations
- Handling petty cash transactions
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
- Maintaining good relationships with suppliers and clients
- Adhering to all company processes and procedures
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline
- Experience in a similar role and need experience in finance within the construction industry (essential)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Exceptional numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen eye for detail
- The ability to work well within a team
