Accounts Assistant Role Overview
NC Associates are working with a fast-growing group business who require the skills of an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and high performing team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will predominately support Purchase and Sales ledger processes. Accounts Assistant Responsibilities:
- Performing multiple daily bank and payment platform reconciliations
- Supplier purchase invoice processing
- Preparing and approving the weekly supplier BACS payment run
- Management and resolution of supplier queries.
- Support with supplier cost analysis – finding more cost-effective solutions where possible.
- Assisting with the reconciliation of the debtor’s ledger.
- Reviewing credit card statements and employee expenses requests
- Any additional finance tasks or project work as required.
Accounts Assistant Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant capacity.
- Capable of managing high volumes of financial data.
- Excellent IT skills with an intermediate level of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A friendly team focussed attitude and approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships.
- High levels of data accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to maintain a positive, “can do” attitude.
- The desire to learn new skills and to develop within an accounting career path.
