Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in Gateshead on a full-time basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records. You will also assist in preparing financial reports, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and performing other financial and administrative tasks as required. This is an on-site role based in Gateshead.
Qualifications:
- Significant relevant work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (primarily Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Experience with maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, managing accounts payable/receivable
- An understanding of accounting principles and regulations as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, participate in meetings and share ideas.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in healthcare or related industries is a plus but not mandatory.
- Further qualification (like ACCA /CIMA/CTA) is desirable but not essential
