Accounts Payable Assistant

Our client is looking to add to the team with an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant on a permanent Basis in the Middleton area.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday 0800-1630

Salary

• £24500-£25,500 dependant on Experience

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant

• Registering Stock Invoices and posting Non Stock Supplier Invoices.
• Generating the supplier payment runs
• Adhoc Payments: Creating adhoc payments as required
• Vendor Account Reconciliation
• Business Support & Invoices in Query
• Supplier Statement Reconciliation
• Filing
• Corresponding with clients/suppliers/other departments.
• Use of Microsoft Office Packages
• Daily Banking: Banking reconciliation

Requirements of the Accounts Assistant

• Attention to detail.
• Background in accounts
• Able to provide work references
• AAT qualified
• Use of Navision preferred
• Experience in a similar role
