IPS Finance are working alongside a tech company who are based in Leeds city centre and are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant.
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business in a varied position that will give great exposure into a busy accounting function. The role offers progression into management accounts.
Responsibilities
- Processing purchase orders
- Sending sales ledger invoices to customers
- Credit control
- Raising manual credit notes
- Monthly VAT return
- Answering general queries relating to deliveries
- Provide assistance to fellow team members when required
- Assisting with the management accounts.
Requirements
- Computer Literate including a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of XERO
- AAT qualified preferred but not essential
- Previous experience working in a finance office
