FJA are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller who will play a pivotal role in managing our sales ledger, ensuring timely payments, and assisting with various finance-related tasks.

The role will be based out of our offices in the Rossendale area.

Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller responsibilities:

• Monthly reconciliation to meet deadlines
• Assist with the monthly / annual company audits
• Support with the weekly payroll
• Process wages, bonus payments, statutory deductions and pension contributions
• Process any attachment of earnings and Child maintenance payments / deductions
• Produce management reports from CRM system
• Business administration
• Process digital RTW check for any UK citizens
• Liaise with clients and candidates

Accounts Assistant/Credit Controllerexperience:

• Bookkeeping/daily accounts - using Sage 50 accounts preferably
• Bank reconciliation experience
• Credit Control/Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger experience
• Proficient using Microsoft packages (particularly excel)
• Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness

Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Minimum 5 GCSE's (A-C) to include English and Maths
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good interpersonal skills
