FJA are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller who will play a pivotal role in managing our sales ledger, ensuring timely payments, and assisting with various finance-related tasks.
The role will be based out of our offices in the Rossendale area.
Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller responsibilities:
- Monthly reconciliation to meet deadlines
- Assist with the monthly / annual company audits
- Support with the weekly payroll
- Process wages, bonus payments, statutory deductions and pension contributions
- Process any attachment of earnings and Child maintenance payments / deductions
- Produce management reports from CRM system
- Business administration
- Process digital RTW check for any UK citizens
- Liaise with clients and candidates
Accounts Assistant/Credit Controllerexperience:
- Bookkeeping/daily accounts - using Sage 50 accounts preferably
- Bank reconciliation experience
- Credit Control/Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger experience
- Proficient using Microsoft packages (particularly excel)
- Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness
Accounts Assistant/Credit Controller qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum 5 GCSE's (A-C) to include English and Maths
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal skills
