It is with great confidence we are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to head up an accounts team for a busy construction company.
Working with an experienced and diligent team you will take the helm of ensuring all accounts systems and processes are actioned in a detailed and organised manner.
The role:
- To manage the accounts function of a busy construction company
- Managing the other members of the accounts team
- VAT reports and returns
- Managing and adhering to deadlines for VAT, TAX etc.
- Paying subcontractors CIS
- Dealing with/ chasing large payments and billing large sums
- Process payroll, invoicing and applications
- Setting up new starters to the company
What you need:
- Good experience of managing accounts / payroll process, be tasked and detailed orientated with leadership experience
- Must have worked within a construction environment
- An understanding of CIS Payments
- SAGE experience is essential, and knowledge of the construction add on EQUE2 would be advantageous
- Detail oriented, task / date focus, organised and have leadership experience
- Longevity with previous employers would be a distinct advantage
- Driving License due to the office location
Hours - Monday to Friday ; 8.30am 5pm with an hour for lunch
