Description

The Accounts Payable Assistant will be responsible for:

• Process and verify invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare payments for approval and process them accordingly.
• Reconcile supplier statements and handle any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any invoice issues.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in month-end closing activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Profile

The successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

• A solid understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• AAT L2 or above (desirable)
