Your new companyMy client is a well established manufacturing organisation in the agricultural industry, based in Carlisle. Your new roleAn opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the business on a temporary basis, expected to be for a minimum of three months.The main duties will involve working alongside the existing team on the Accounts Payable Ledger.Standard working hours are 8:30-17:00 Monday to Friday. My client is flexible with regard to working hours, including part-time hours and working around school pick up/ drop off, where necessary. Duties will include:
- Processing of Purchase Invoices
- Reconciling of Ledger Accounts to Supplier Statements
- Dealing with queries from suppliers via phone & email
- Assisting with the preparation of payment runs
- Other duties as required to support the finance team
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in Purchase Ledger/ Accounts Support
- Strong IT and systems skills
- Excellent communication skills
