Accounts Payable Assistant

Robert Half are working in partnership with a renowned, industry leading organisation in Swindon to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone that is studying towards AAT or someone that is qualified by experience that is looking for a new challenge and be a part of a reputable company, known for offering long-term careers prospects and an excellent culture. This will be a fast paced, challenging role and will be suitable for someone that is keen to add value and broaden their skills. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary up to £26,000 plus annual bonus, study support, hybrid working and other excellent benefits.

The Role

The main duties of the Accounts Payable Assistant will consist of the follow:

• Processing high volume invoices and purchase orders.
• Statement and general ledger reconciliations.
• Preparing payment runs on a weekly basis.
• Liaising with numerous stakeholders and dealing with queries and discrepancies.
• Assisting with the billing process.
• Processing payments.

Requirements

To be considered for the Accounts Payable Assistant role, you must ideally possess the following experience/skills:

• Must have a minimum of 12 months experience within an Accounts Payable/purchase ledger role.
• AAT studier or qualified by experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good team player.
• Highly organised.
• Good initiative.

Salary & Benefits

• £24,000 - £26,000 annual salary
