Salary up to £30K base plus Bonus and Benefits

Our Client is a Market leader in the Construction Fixings and Tools Industry and they are looking for a dynamic driven Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team.

Hours of work : 40hrs flexible start time i.e. 6am-3pm, 8am-5pm (1hr lunch)

Key Responsibilities

• Posting invoices and managing credit notes / returns Supplier statement reconciliation.
• Communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally with colleagues and suppliers.
• Support in ledger closures and month-end processes.
• Efficiently management of Purchase Orders and assisting with supplier setup and maintenance.
• Posting bank and credit card transactions.
• Payment allocation.
• Analysing budget variations.
• Assisting the audit process.
• Reconciliations -balance sheet, bank, direct costs, revenue etc.
• Posting journals.
• P/L Review.
• Managing the accounts inbox.
• Reducing costs where possible.
• Ad hoc reporting

Experience & Skills

• Excellent telephone manner
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook.
• Good attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
• AAT studier preferred.

This role is full 100% office based and ideal commute location is around the Sidcup area.
