Accounts Payable Assistant Temporary Contract

This role is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable to join the Accounting & Finance department in a well-established Not For Profit organisation based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate proven skills in accounts payable.

Description

• Handle the Accounts Payable function including invoice processing and payment
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies
• Invoice processing and producing purchase orders
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve any payment issues
• Support the wider Accounting & Finance team with ad-hoc tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
