We are recruiting for a hybrid working Accounts Payable Assistant to join us in our Manchester office. You will be part of a fast-paced team, who strive to deliver, with dynamic and varying duties.
Sitting within our Finance Shared Service Department, as Accounts Payable Assistant you will:
- Receive supplier invoices and ensure they are captured on the system accurately
- "Matching and batching" invoices
- Prepare regular supplier statement reconciliations, responding to any queries in a timely manner
- Liaise with internal and external staff including buyers - to help support deliveries
- Prepare weekly payment runs
- Posting payments, Direct Debits etc.
- Answering a number of inbound calls per day, supporting supplier queries surrounding invoices
- Providing an enjoyable customer experience, tailoring solutions to meet the needs of the customer
What will you bring?
We are looking for an individual with experience in Accounts Payable, who is passionate, experienced in working in a high pace environment and can show their work initiative. Historically this role is a great role to commence your career - with many in this role progressing in to Finance and more Senior Finance roles.
