This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Accounts Payable to contribute to the financial success of a thriving organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include:
- Accept invoices from suppliers and apply those sums to cost accounting.
- Assembly, review and verification of invoices and payment requests.
- Monitor the finance email inbox.
- Establish payment cycles.
- Evaluate suppliers’ performance.
- Sort invoices and expense claims.
- Prepare and process electronic transfer and payments.
- Reconcile purchase ledger and supplier statements.
- All other Accounts Payable administrative tasks.
The successful Accounts Payable Clerk will require the following competencies:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
