Accounts Payable Coordinator

Purpose

The purpose of this role is to not only support the Accounts Payable Team Leader but to provide guidance and troubleshooting to the wider Accounts Payable team so that payments can be made correctly and on time. The role will also heavily liaise with the wider business and suppliers as well as management of the Corporate Credit Card Scheme. The successful candidate will be a key player in the roll-out of Concur to the Overseas Business Units.

• Salary £50-£54K
• Hybrid working: Mondays and Wednesdays in the office + 1 additional day per month
• Working Hours: 9-5.15pm
• Location: Central London

Responsibilities

• Ensuring queries on the Accounts Payable mailbox are promptly responded to and resolved
• Management of Corporate Credit Card Programme
• Review of weekly payment run from Concur
• Maintenance of Overseas Invoice Tracker
• Application of appropriate Withholding Taxes
• Facilitating the set-up of all new suppliers
• Obtaining invoice and expense approvals from the business
• Loading of payments onto banking platforms
• Preparation of Supplier and Debtor Reconciliations
• Booking and matching of Treasury Payments
• Ensuring systematic filing of all manual invoices
• Ensuring integrity of supplier data
• Ensuring all bank statements are downloaded and filed monthly
• Deputising for the Accounts Payable -Team Leader during periods of absence
• Deliver regular training and Q&A sessions for the Business Support Team
• Ensuring cross training of all Accounts Payable Team members to cover periods of absence
• Working with the Finance Systems Support Team in order to streamline existing Accounts Payable processes
• Assisting with External and Internal Audit Queries

Essential

• Preferably AAT or part-qualified ACCA /CIMA
• Proven experience within an International Accounts Payable Function
• Extensive experience of working within Concur
• Experience of dealing with various stakeholders internally and externally
• Experience of multi-currency processes
• Experience of Overseas Withholding Taxes and the concepts behind these
• Experience of managing the administration of a Corporate Credit Card Programme
• Infor SunSystems experience
