Accounts Payable Manager - Growing international cleantech business

Based: Central London (hybrid)

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)

12 months Fixed Term (Maternity Cover) Contract

An exciting opportunity now exists for an Accounts Payable Manager to work in this dynamic cleantech business in Central London which has expanded rapidly in the last couple of years and now operates on a truly international basis.The position will be offered on 12 months fixed term contract and will play an important part in the smooth running of various parts of the finance team

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager responsibilities will include:

• ownership of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• debtor ledger management
• settlement reporting
• billing and credit notes
• invoice posting
• bank reconciliations
• VAT returns review
• profit / loss and variance analysis
• assist with year end audit
• ad hoc project work

Requirements for this Accounts Payable Manager are as follows:

• a qualified or part qualified MAAT, ACCA or CIMA
• strong recent experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
• progressive experience in a fast moving environment
• strong technical skills with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
• excellent presentation and communication skills
• ability to work with professionals from a non finance background
• the desire to succeed in a progressive work environment.
• strong excel skills
• exposure to the utilities / energy / telecoms or infrastructure sectors highly advantageous
