Accounts Payable Manager

Accounts Payable Manager| £35,000 - £39,000 | 12 month FTC | Manchester| Hybrid:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Accounts Payable Manager to their team on a 12 month FTC. The role offers hybrid working, flexi-time and other great benefits. 

Duties:

• Managing a busy transactions team including Accounts Payable Assistants and Accounts Receivable Assistants (Predominantly AP) 
• Overseeing all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring current procedures are being followed 
• Key point of contact in the finance team for suppliers 
• Maintaining and updating the purchase ledger 
• Developing strong, effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers 

Experience:

• Experience managing an Accounts payable/Accounts receivable team 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment and processing high volume of invoices 
• Experience using financial systems with strong excel skills
• Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
• Understanding of full P2P process
• Immediately available to start next role
