We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our Accounts Payable team and ensure the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Accounts Payable, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to streamline processes to increase efficiency.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage and supervise the Accounts Payable team, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
- Oversee the processing of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month-end information; ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
- Liaise with other departments and vendors to improve AP processes and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and deliver reports regarding Accounts Payable status and other metrics for management.
- Ensure the team responds to all queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
