Job description

P2P Manager - 12 month contract - Slough - 12 month contract - Hybrid - £50.000 - £60.000

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase to Pay (P2P) Manager to oversee and optimise our end-to-end procurement and Accounts Payable processes. The P2P Manager will be responsible for managing the entire purchase to pay cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimise the purchase to pay process, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including procurement, finance, and business units, to define requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive alignment on procurement strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, automation solutions, and best practices in procurement and Accounts Payable.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including vendor performance evaluation, contract management, and resolution of issues or disputes.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable operations, including invoice processing, payment processing, and expense report management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other stakeholders, in compliance with payment terms and company policies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to purchase to pay processes, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to drive efficiency's.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into procurement performance, cost savings, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • years of experience in procurement, Accounts Payable, or related field, with [X] years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, contract management, and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
