Reed Accountancy are delighted to be supporting our Maidenhead-based client who is currently seeking an interim Accounts Payable Manager to cover a maternity leave. This maternity leave cover is to start mid-March and will be in the region of 16 months.
As an Accounts Payable Manager you will be responsible for 5 direct reports with duties including, but not limited to:
- Manage the full purchase to pay function for global Group
- Month-end close for AP function
- Reporting and reviewing aged items and keeping to targets
- Maintain a strong working relationship with other accounts functions in the Group
- Drive process improvement and consistency in Accounts Payable throughout the Group
- Ensure accurate reconciliations between Purchase and General ledgers
- Providing training as required to team members
- Be able to provide cover at a transactional level if team members are absent
To be an Accounts Payable Manager you need:
- Experience of Oracle and SAP would be strongly advantageous
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Accounts Payable Manager
- Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
- Second European language would be advantageous
