Accounts Payable Manager - Group Functions

Morgan McKinley London are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing group business to recruit an Accounts Payable Manager. Please only apply for this role if you have group function experience.

The Role:

-Lead the AP function for the Group Finance function, including management of the core purchase-to-pay processes and other related activities.

-Management of the AP ledger, ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely and accurate manner and that all AP ledger entries are coded and posted accurately.

-Forecast monthly cash requirements to help cash management and ensure adequate funds are available to cover cash outflows.

-Ensure that AP queries from employees and suppliers are dealt with promptly, efficiently and escalated where appropriate.

-Oversee the offshore AP team to ensure the overall team objectives are met, and support their ongoing development and training requirements.

-Use KPIs to track and manage the performance of the function, support management decision making, and to flag areas of inefficiency and non-compliance.

-Ensure timely AP month-end close and control account reconciliation.

-Drive continuous improvement in the core AP processes and working practices, and ensure the end-to-end AP processes and procedures are fully documented.

The Candidate:

-Proven AP experience in a Group Function

-Experience of Sage Intacct and Yooz is desirable

-Advanced leadership and developmental capabilities Outstanding problem

-Solving skills and a resilient, can-do attitude Expertise in all areas of AP, including purchase ordering, banking and payments.

-Ability to communicate AP matters clearly and concisely to non-finance colleagues

-Excellent attention to detail, with a thorough and methodical approach

-A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify and deliver process improvements -Highly organised, ability to take the initiative, prioritise and manage multiple concurrent workstreams
