Accounts Payable Specialist

Halliday Marx have partnered with a Global Media Conglomerate to recruit a Accounts Payable Specialist on an interim basis.
This role is Hybrid working consisting of 2 days per week in their City of London offices.
This contract opportunity will be 3-6 months in duration.

Your key duties will include, but not be limited too;

• Process supplier invoices or other expenditure claims before submitting for payment, ensuring that all transactions are approved and aligned with agreed terms and conditions.
• Process credit card statements ensuring that transactions are aligned with agreed terms and conditions.
• Ensure that appropriate commitment documentation is in place before raising purchase orders
• Resolve SAP issues, escalating where necessary.
• Report on key performance indicators.
• Ensures the provision of a full range of payment services are available while maintaining a reliable control environment and ensuring the most effective use of these systems and processes.
• Monitor and ensure that finance data protection rules are followed.
• Identify areas where processes can be improved, strengthened.

The Successful Candidate;

• Demonstrable Accounts Payable experience within a fast paced environment
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Excellent communication skills
